Winter Style
Do you ever cross that bridge of finding a piece of wardrobe that looks good and is thoroughly functional?
I’ve recently found the perfect addition to my winter/spring NYC streets renegade snow, slush, and rain busters. These little gems are stylish, totally waterproof, and warm. Not to mention they bring out your inner kid by giving you the superpower of puddle invincibility.
Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce to you the Boman Beck boots by Tretorn.
These badboys are the perfect blend. I found them on a snowy day in a small boutique shoe store in Williamsburg. (And better yet, for half off.) They’ve been my winter savior. If you live in NYC (or any major city with snow), you’ve experienced the day-after-snow effect where the sidewalk corners have a 6ft puddle of slush and you have to figure out how to navigate around through the piles of snow. These eliminate that problem as I walk straight through the middle.
What’s even better? They aren’t huge, heavy and clunky like Sorels, and they have an awesome red plaid liner that keeps your feet toasty and warm. They’re pretty light and agile, and most of all they look great.
I know what you may be thinking… “Is this a sales pitch?” It’s not! I just really love these things.
I’m curious: What’s in your winter renegade style chest?
